I like it. :)

Its negative, but its not over-the-top.

If I were an Orentlicher supporter (he's my #2), I'd be excited to see this one on the air.

I'm pretty shocked.  My gut feeling was that David would stay positive in hopes of getting nominated for Mayor in 2011.

Not only is he close to finishing last or next to last in the congressional race,  he is giving up a sure state rep seat and has ruined any chance he ever had of running for any other office.

I, too, like the call-out on Myers's income stream.  I cannot imagine how my party would nominate a person whose fortune, being spent almost exclusively on this campaign, was derived  from the scummy side of that industry.  

I don't think the GOP can attack Myers in a fall campaign, so there's no real danger there.  It just seems to attack the heart and soul of what my party has stood for for decades.

The ad is correct in that respect. I'd have been happier if it would've stopped there.

The Carson swipe will have backlash.  Although it's mostly true, it's clear there is a large segment of my party that's OK with the manner in which Andre got the seat.  It is their right to think that.  And history has shown us that the folks who feel that way are legendary in their GOTV efforts.  And in their political skullduggery.

This commercial helps David, overall.  But it's late.
