Perhaps this is old news, but it appears that the Indiana Young Republicans website is dead. Apparently they couldn't handle the heat after their former leader -- and national mouthpiece -- became involved in what can kindly be described as a small legal matter.
As part of my search for an explanation as to why the Young Republicans would have abandoned their online operations, I went looking for a Facebook group that might provide some insight from the voices of the GOP youth. As near as I can tell, they actually don't have a Facebook group, (are you kidding me?), but they do have a group for the Indianapolis-based Republicans out there. No word on why their website is dead, or even a mention of their embattled former leader, but they do provide a few thinly veiled racial slurs!
Ah, that old tradition of the GOP as a "big tent" rolls right on into a new generation.
