Tony Bennett, the state superintendent of schools, is probably tied with Murdock for being a wingnut who says and does embarrassing things. No one takes him seriously anymore either.

The guy spends over $2 million of the taxpayers money tilting a windmills then has the gall to put himself in the same sentence with Rosa Parks.
If we can't vote this shrub out of office we truly are in bad shape.
Within the state government we hear all kinds of stories about Tony "oh you mean that creationism" Bennett and none of it is good.  The Department of Education has become his own personal employment agency.

OK, two things here: (4.00 / 2)

First, the IDOE stopped being important long ago.  They're barely relevant.

Secondly, the answer to your question is: "yes."  Murdock's hair dye finally seeped into his brain, Keady-style.

We must find a candidate to oppose this guy, period.
