After saying a few weeks ago that "John Wayne never needed a bailout," it looks like State Treasurer Richard Mourdock is continuing his campaign to surpass Dan Burton as the Hoosier State's craziest elected politician. Here's the latest installment:
Mourdock said Indiana's being the only state to file suit was his "Rosa Parks moment. I knew there would be consequences for taking this on," he said.
The suit to block the merger was dismissed by the U.S. Supreme Court, but he hopes the pension issue returns to court to recover the losses to the state fund.
