Barack Obama will be in Plainfield today doing his thing, and for the lucky few who were able to score tickets to the event, I'm sure it will be a day to remember.
All 2,000 or so tickets available for the event at the Plainfield High School gymnasium were snapped up in less than two hours after it was publicized on the candidate's Web site Thursday morning.
For anyone with a ticket, doors to the gym will open at 12:30 p.m. Obama is expected to take the stage at 2:20 p.m.
It'll be the Democrat's first stop in Indiana this year.
For those of you who won't be in attendance, the Indianapolis Star website promises to have live coverage of the event.
And for you Hillary fans, it looks like next week will be your first chance to catch sight of the Clinton campaign as she takes a swing through the Hoosier state.
Clinton's campaign issued a statement Friday saying details of her Indiana trip will be announced in the coming days.
"We are going to run an aggressive, grass-roots campaign that reaches voters in every corner of Indiana," said Robby Mook, who was named state director of the campaign.
Mook, who will be joined by Marlon Marshall, serving as field director in Indiana, oversaw the Ohio primary win that helped revive the New York senator's campaign.
